We include sustainability classes with each program to teach our learners how they make an impact in their course of study. One highlight is teaching our learners about “waste not, want not,”  in the salon. By wasting product, you are making yourself work harder because somehow you have to make up for the financial loss that you threw out into the garbage, just by being wasteful.  You have to “work smarter, not harder” with your services. Our learners are also taught the 3 pillars of sustainability, the lifestyle of health and sustainability and how we’re being as green of a campus as we can be.
