Meet Ms. Tasha, a passionate and skilled Cosmetology instructor dedicated to inspiring the next generation of beauty professionals.
Ms. Tasha’s love for beauty started at a young age and has grown into a rewarding career as a instructor. Read on to learn more about her journey and the impact she’s making in the beauty industry.
How did you become interested in beauty?
I knew when I was in grade school, I remember having dolls and working on their hair. The endless possibilities and creativity the beauty industry has is something I love. I’ve known since the 5th grade and made my dream a reality.
What is the best part of your job as an Academy of Beauty Professionals educator?
Seeing the light bulb of learners when they understand something I’ve taught them as well as seeing the joy when they accomplish something. It truly is amazing and something so special to be a part of.
What is your favorite service to perform and why?
My favorite service to perform is teaching theory. Sharing knowledge and gaining new insight is the greatest service I could give.
What is your favorite movie?
I love ‘Beetle Juice’ and all of the ‘Anchor Mans’ but it’s so hard to choose just a few!
If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
My mother. She is the greatest inspiration of why I am teaching, she was also a teacher. She taught me compassion, understanding, she truly was the greatest teacher I have ever known.

I love cooking, I have 3 children in heaven, and I love art!
