Meet Ms. Allanna, a passionate and skilled Cosmetology instructor. She has always been captivated by the beauty industry, but it wasn’t until later in life that she took the plunge into cosmetology school. Today, she thrives on hands-on teaching and witnessing her students’ transformations.

How did you become interested in beauty?
I’ve always been interested in the beauty industry. It took me a little longer in life to take the jump of going to school, but I’ve always had a passion for the industry.
What is the best part of your job as an Academy of Beauty Professionals educator?
I absolutely love the hands-on teaching and watching the flip switch for learners when they understand a certain concept. I love watching the learners grow and become more confident in themselves.
What is your favorite service to perform and why?
My favorite service would have to be hair coloring. The transformation and the confidence boost for the client is one of my favorite parts. I love helping people feel good about themselves.

Pretty Woman! Julia Roberts is AMAZING!!
If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would it be and why?
My grandpa. He passed away in 2016 and was always one of my biggest supporters. I would love the opportunity to tell him I followed my dream of being a Cosmetologist.
Tell us something else we wouldn’t know about you.
I have 5 boys, I love the show ‘Friends’, and I love sports (watching, playing, ANYTHING!).
